When is the deadline for submitting entries?

April 15th, 2008 at 11:59 PM PST.

There will be no extensions and late entries will not be accepted.

Is this contest open to qualified professionals in other countries?

Yes, except where prohibited by law, the Magensa Demo Contest is open to all qualified professionals worldwide who are 18 years and older and currently employed in the financial, payment and/or identification industry.

Cool, $2,500! - do I have to claim this on my taxes?

So when do I get my prize?

You’ll have a lot of competition, but...all prizes will be delivered within 30 days of announcing the winners. Think mid May.

How do you win the contest?

There will be one winner. The person who scores the most points by giving demos, and referring new contestants who also give demos will be the winner. If there’s a tie, the names of the contestants who are tied will be placed in a bowl and one will be drawn at random.
